Could The Green Lanterns ACTUALLY Solo Pennywise?

Green Lantern vs Pennywise: Can the DCU’s Emerald Knight stop a cosmic shapeshifter that feeds on fear, or does willpower hit its limit against ancient evil? In this video we’re scaling the Green Lanterns from the new Lanterns HBO show alongside Hal Jordan, John Stewart, and the Corps across other DCU films and animation to pin down their power level. The DCU Green Lanterns wield rings forged from pure will, crafting constructs that can tank building-level explosions, fly at hypersonic speeds, and contain energy blasts that level city blocks. Hal’s held together collapsing structures with a single thought, John’s built skyscraper-sized shields mid-battle, and even a rookie Lantern can go toe-to-toe with metahumans and survive orbital reentry. The ring auto-adapts to threats, scans alien biology, and creates anything the user can imagine, from laser cannons to forcefield prisons. Then there’s Pennywise from IT and Welcome to Derry. He’s not just a clown, he’s a cosmic entity from the Macroverse that warps reality, feeds on fear, and exists outside normal space and time. He can shapeshift into your worst nightmare, teleport through Derry’s sewers, and erase you mentally before you even swing. Guns and knives don’t work, he only loses when victims confront their fear head-on. So who wins? Green Lantern’s ring runs on willpower, the exact thing Pennywise weaponizes. We’re weighing construct durability, speed, and versatility against Pennywise’s reality warping, fear hax, and near-immortality to see if a Lantern can hold his mind together long enough to cage a god. Let us know below, does the Emerald Light burn bright enough to end IT, or does fear win again?
