THE TRINITY EXPLAINED: How Are the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit One God?

The Trinity Explained is one of the deepest and most difficult questions in Christianity: How can the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit be three distinct persons while remaining one God? In this documentary, we explore the Trinity explained through key passages from Scripture, beginning with Genesis and the words “Let us make man in our image.” We then examine the Shema in Deuteronomy, the meaning of “one,” and the New Testament passages describing Jesus' relationship with the Father. The video also explores the Trinity explained through the words and actions of Jesus. Why did Jesus pray to the Father? Why did he say, “I and the Father are one”? And what does Scripture reveal about the identity and work of the Holy Spirit? Finally, we look at the baptism of Jesus, where the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit appear together in the same scene. This moment provides one of the clearest biblical pictures of the relationship between the three persons of the Trinity. Rather than treating the Trinity as a mathematical puzzle, this documentary examines how Scripture presents the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit as distinct persons united in one divine being. If you have ever wondered how the Trinity works, why Jesus prayed to the Father, or whether the Holy Spirit is truly a person, this exploration will help you examine these questions through the biblical passages discussed in the video.
