Inside Sweden's Ice Hotel That Melts Every Spring + Victory Hotel

Sleep on crystal-clear ice at minus five, then warm up in Stockholm’s most storied boutique hideaway. Two world-class stays, one unforgettable journey across Sweden. From the island-studded waterways of Stockholm to the Arctic silence of Jukkasjärvi, we uncover details you won’t see in brochures. Step into The Victory Hotel in Gamla Stan, where a 1640 building hides a Michelin-recognized restaurant, a baroque Captain Johansson Suite with hand-painted beams, and rare Nelson-era artifacts including an 1801 letter. Then head 200 km into the Arctic Circle to the Ice Hotel, rebuilt each winter from the Torne River’s glassy ice. Hear how suites like Iceplosion are crafted, why lighting is a race against the polar night, and what “revenge of the chandelier” really means. Dog sleds, an ice bar with river-made glasses, and a church sculpted from snow set the scene. Ready to decide if you’d dare to sleep here? Watch now and experience both sides of Swedish luxury for yourself. #SwedenTravel #IceHotel #Stockholm #VictoryHotel #ArcticCircle #DogSledding #VasaMuseum
