Here's my take on Itrapped: To summarize, I still think Itrapped is an asshole and the hate he receives is 100% justified. But I don't think he's the one dimensional villain people make him out to be. i think he's a GREAT example of a greedy person whose own greed had backfired. While I don't know the full lore of May Madness 2012, I do know one of the key events that took place there is Itrapped crashing the roblox Economy (because he's a greedy kleptomaniac). And I believe that had something to do with the fall off of their friend group and how the others got sent to the Banlands but not him. I think because he pulled that stunt, he unintentionally put their group in the limelight. Which caused their names to become bigger than expected, thus resulting in bounties of their heads. He's a selfish, greedy, person. Thats true. But I also think he's a loyal and selfless friend. Hear me out. Why else would Itrapped suck up to like Chance whom he hated, for months, maybe even years? (Maybe somewhere along the line he grew to like his company. But of course he has priorities.) For the access to The Banlands? Okay sure. But why would he even need access in the first place? Money? Treasure? Surely someone as smart as him, who had hacked Robloxia and crashed their economy could find a better way to get filthy rich with out forcing and or breaking in to the world's most hellish Tartarus ahh prison. So obviously it was to save his friends. He was willing to get his hands dirty to get access to the prison, if that isn't selfless idk what is. (I don't really know if he's killed anyone before outright like he had to Chance. But if he didn't, well, that adds on to him being more selfless) A person can be both selfish and selfless at the same time. Sure they contradict each other, but that doesn't necessarily mean you cannot be selfless if you've been selfish. Humanity is complex, one can be kind one day but cruel the other. Ya see what I mean? Like with 007!n7. He can be a loving dad but still be unintentionally an abusive one. (Negligence is still abuse so) But, is Itrapped still a bad person? Oh definitely. He's still a murderer and an awful person in general. At least to people who aren't his friends. Chance was just unlucky Itrapped didn't let himself be swayed by their 'friendship'. LOL
