What If You Grew and Couldn't Stop?

Something goes wrong and you start growing, and it doesn't stop. You go through your own roof, rise past a news helicopter and up through the clouds, then stand with your head in space, the Earth between your shoes, the Sun a spark, the Milky Way turning around your ankles, and finally the edge of everything anyone has ever seen at your waist. The sizes are real: space begins about 100 kilometres up, the space station flies at about 400, the Earth is 12,742 kilometres wide, the Moon is 384,400 kilometres away, and the Sun is 150 million, so far that its light takes eight minutes to arrive. The nearest star is about 4 light-years away, the Milky Way is roughly 100,000 light-years across, and Andromeda is 2.5 million light-years away. Where the stars and galaxies sit around you is arranged for the camera, and nothing real could grow this fast or survive it. The observable universe is about 93 billion light-years across. Nobody knows what is outside it, so the video stops there. You started about 10²⁷ times smaller than the observable universe, and about 10³⁵ times bigger than the smallest length physics can describe.
