Description

My company wouldn't let me work from home because I went idle in chat too often. So I wrote a simple PowerShell script that presses a key every 4 minutes. Result? Permanent WFH approved. u/ythafuckigetsuspend's epic r/MaliciousCompliance story brought to life! After being the only person on their team denied full remote work because their Teams/chat status went idle too much, this employee fought back with pure malicious compliance. A 6-line PowerShell script that automatically types a period every 4 minutes kept them "active" all day while they still crushed their actual work (and even read books, watched TV, and played games). Now their boss noticed they "go idle way less" and approved full WFH. Classic Reddit revenge at its finest.
