Dispatch Reveals New Details in Kim Soo-hyun Case as 2016 Messages Are Linked to Another Celebrity

Dispatch has revealed a new twist in the controversy surrounding Kim Soo-hyun and the late Kim Sae-ron. According to Dispatch’s October 13 report, the 2016 KakaoTalk messages previously presented as evidence of their relationship were actually sent by another celebrity, identified as Celebrity A. The report says staff at the Garo Sero Research Institute changed the names in the messages, making it appear that Kim Soo-hyun was the sender. Police reportedly confirmed Celebrity A’s real name in the original messages and compared the voice in the conversations. Based on their examination, they determined that the sender was someone else, not Kim Soo-hyun. The report also stated that Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Sae-ron had only three phone calls between 2017 and 2018. Meanwhile, the photos presented by Garo Sero were taken in 2019 and 2020, when Kim Sae-ron was an adult university student. Police closed the related cases without charges in July and September 2026.
