Why Ethiopia’s Banna Tribe Sleeps in Trees at Night 🌳🇪🇹 #shorts 📄 Most people would never imagine sleeping in a tree, but for Ethiopia’s Banna Tribe, it can be part of everyday life. 🌳 The Banna move from place to place with their livestock, searching for grass and water. 🐄 When night arrives, snakes and other reptiles can move around on the ground below. 🐍 That’s why sleeping above the ground can sometimes be a safer option. Before climbing up, they carefully check for a strong branch and find a spot where they can stay through the night. But there’s barely enough room to stretch out, so they may have to sleep with their body curled up for hours. 😴 When suitable trees aren’t available, they can use: Hammocks 🪢 Small tree shelters 🛖 Strong branches 🌳 What looks like an unbelievable way to sleep… is simply a practical part of life for the Banna Tribe in Ethiopia. 🇪🇹 🏷️ #ethiopia #bannatribe #bannapeople #ethiopiantribe #triballife #africantribes #ethiopiaculture #africanculture #nomadiclife #nomadicpeople #pastorallife #livestockherding #treeshelter #treehouse #hammock #traditionalwayoflife #rurallife #shorts #youtubeshorts #ytshorts
