Betty White's Friend Gets FIRED! - Life with Elizabeth (1953) 🎬 - Ep. 7 - Refurbished TV Episode

Life with Elizabeth - Mama's Letter; Lodge Dinner; Richard Gets Fired (1953) Starring: Betty White, Del Moore, Dick Garton Runtime: 25m Genre: Comedy, Sitcom Plot Summary: Betty White returns as Elizabeth in three classic comedy sketches packed with everyday misunderstandings and domestic mishaps. First, Mama's nearly unreadable handwriting leaves Elizabeth and Alvin with no choice but to call and decipher her mysterious letter. Then Elizabeth complains about Alvin's lodge dinners without knowing what he really has planned. Finally, when Alvin's friend Richard loses his job, Elizabeth believes a little role-playing might be just the solution. With Betty White's lively comic timing and Del Moore as her increasingly exasperated husband Alvin, this vintage sitcom turns ordinary married life into a wonderfully entertaining series of mix-ups.
