Let me say this... life is going to be difficult sometimes, no matter which direction you choose. Going to school is hard. Building a career is hard. Saving money is hard. Going to the gym is hard. Learning new skills is hard. But staying stuck, struggling financially, remaining unhappy with your situation, or looking back with regret can be hard too. The question isn't always “How can I avoid difficulty?” Sometimes the better question is, “Which difficulty is worth choosing?” If getting a degree takes four years, those four years are going to pass anyway. If improving your health takes months, those months will pass anyway. If building a career requires learning, applying, failing, and trying again, that time will pass too. You don't have to enjoy every part of the process. You simply need to decide what future you're willing to work for. Choose the hard that gives you something in return.
