Do You Need a Dual-Screen Handheld? I Tried This $70 Add-On

Do you really need to spend money on a dedicated dual-screen handheld to play Nintendo DS and 3DS games? The Retroid Dual Screen Add-On costs around $70 and adds a second 5.5-inch AMOLED touchscreen to compatible Retroid handhelds. I tested it primarily with the Retroid Pocket 6 to see how close it can get to the experience of dedicated dual-screen handhelds like the AYN Thor. In this video, I'll show you how the Dual Screen Add-On works, how to set it up, what DS and 3DS gaming is actually like, some of the quirks I ran into, and whether I think it's a worthwhile alternative to buying another handheld. I also briefly tested the attachment with the Retroid Pocket Nova and AYN Odin 3, although Retroid currently lists compatibility with the Pocket 6, Pocket 5, Pocket 4 Pro, Pocket Mini and Pocket Mini V2.
