The proposal was presented before the High Court of Bombay at Goa during hearings on two petitions filed by Sharlet Fernandes, including one concerning the Village Panchayat of Majorda-Utorda-Calata. Advocate General Devidas Pangam informed the court that a draft policy for CCTV footage retention has been prepared. The government is also assessing the technical feasibility and financial requirements of the proposed scheme, with the assessment expected to be completed in approximately three weeks. The High Court observed that implementing the CCTV scheme and footage retention policy would address a substantial part of the concerns raised in the petitions. The matter has been adjourned to November 25 for further hearing. #GoaCCTV #GoaGovernment #BombayHighCourt #VillagePanchayat #Goemkarponn Goemkarponn links https://www.facebook.com/goemkarponn https://www.instagram.com/goemkarponn/ https://x.com/goemkarponnlive
