LYRICS: Father, thank You Father, thank You for Your grace You loved me first You loved me first Before I knew to turn to You You loved me first Oh, make me empty Empty of myself Empty of all I think I know I only want to be An instrument of You And I love, because You loved me first Yes, I love, because You loved me first I have no song of my own I only sing of Yours A hollow reed in Your hands Play me like a flute Let Your Spirit flow through me Let Your heavenly melody Be heard in everything I do Until all of me is Yours And I love, because You loved me first Yes, I love, because You loved me first I have no love of my own I only offer Yours Take every thought, take every word Take every movement, make it Yours So all I am and all I do Becomes a song returning home Returning love to You And I love, because You loved me first Yes, I love, because You loved me first I have no song of my own I only sing of You Father, thank You For Your grace...
