Friends here's the recipe for homemade chocolate syrup 1 cup unsweetened cocoa 1&1/2 cup sugar 1&1/2 cup water dash of salt 1 teaspoon of vanilla (more if you like) heat water, sugar, cocoa, and salt on low heat. Stir constantly for 5 mins. add vanilla, stir and let cool. put into container of choice and store in the fridge. It will last for months.
