This Man Felt His Own Spit Start to Boil

During a spacesuit test in a NASA vacuum chamber in Houston, Jim LeBlanc's suit lost pressure at the equivalent of about 36 km of altitude. At that pressure water boils at body temperature. His last memory before blacking out: the saliva on his tongue starting to bubble. Technicians repressurised the chamber and he recovered with no lasting injury. #shorts #space #nasa
