Description

On December 26th, 2004, the floor of the Indian Ocean broke open and set an entire ocean in motion. But it wasn't the earthquake that killed close to a quarter of a million people that morning. It was what the water did first – it slid backwards off the beaches, hundreds of feet of it, stranding boats and exposing seabed no living person had ever seen, and hundreds of people walked out onto it to look. What followed became the deadliest tsunami in recorded history. For copyright and business inquiries, contact us at: [email protected] Music by Epidemic Sound.
