Yankee Doodle – A Folk Tribute to 1776 🇺🇸 | Music Video

🇺🇸 Yankee Doodle – A Folk Tribute to 1776 Ride along with a wide-eyed farm boy and his father as they visit a bustling Continental Army camp in 1775. Giant cannons, fife and drum bands, General Washington on his white stallion, and a campfire jig that grows into a full-camp celebration. This is America’s most famous folk song brought to life. This version features the full set of traditional verses, including many rarely heard today, from the original “Father and I went down to camp” ballad of the Revolutionary era. 🎵 About the song: “Yankee Doodle” dates back to the 1700s. British soldiers first sang it to mock colonial troops, but the Americans adopted it as a proud anthem of the Revolution. Today it’s the official state song of Connecticut. 🎬 Visuals created with AI video tools 👍 Like, subscribe and share for more folk songs and history brought to life! #YankeeDoodle #FolkMusic #AmericanHistory #PatrioticSongs #1776 #RevolutionaryWar #FolkSong #MusicVideo #AmericanFolk #4thOfJuly
