Trump MELTDOWN As Ricky Gervais Brutally EXPOSED Him on Live TV! In 2001 Ricky Gervais created David Brent — a delusional narcissist boss who craves attention, surrounds himself with yes-men, cannot take criticism, mistakes fame for competence, and genuinely believes he is both a great businessman and a natural entertainer. In 2016 Gervais sat down with a journalist and said on record that somehow Trump has more in common with David Brent than he does Lincoln or Roosevelt. Then in January 2025 he won the Golden Globe for best stand-up comedy for Mortality, didn't fly to collect it, and tweeted two words — I fucking won. Trump did not respond. This video is dramatized political analysis. The documented facts — Gervais's 2001 creation of David Brent, his documented 2016 and 2017 on-record Trump comparisons, his January 2025 Golden Globe win for Mortality, his documented 2020 Golden Globes warning speech about celebrity political grandstanding, and the structural character parallels between Brent and Trump drawn by Gervais himself on multiple occasions — are all drawn from verified public record. He wrote the blueprint in 2001. The patterns repeat. We slow them down.
