Description

If your soda explodes after you accidentally shake it, you’ve been opening it wrong your whole life. 🥤 We’ve all had that moment of panic when a can of soda gets dropped or shaken up. When you shake a carbonated drink, millions of microscopic carbon dioxide bubbles attach themselves to the inner walls of the aluminum can. The moment you pull the tab, those trapped pressure bubbles expand rapidly toward the surface—dragging half your drink out with them in a sticky eruption. Luckily, basic physics gives us an instant fix. Instead of waiting ten minutes or opening it slowly and making a mess, simply tap the outer sides of the can with your fingers. Tapping creates vibration waves that knock the microscopic bubbles off the inside walls and forces them to rise to the top air gap. When you open the can afterward, only the trapped pressurized gas escapes at the top—leaving your soda completely calm and inside the can where it belongs! #shorts #soda #facts #coke #trick #drink
