Eric Clapton - Good Night Irene - Country Classic Cover

Welcome to Vintage Gold Country 🤠 Eric Clapton - Good Night Irene - Country Classic Cover Enjoy this heartfelt country classic cover of “Good Night Irene,” inspired by Eric Clapton’s 2013 version of the timeless American folk standard. This Vintage Gold Country interpretation brings the song into a warm classic cowboy setting, following Irene and a restless cowboy husband whose old habits slowly pull them apart. From quiet evenings by the fireplace to lonely walks through a small western town, the story becomes a bittersweet reflection on love, regret, distance, and the memories that remain after someone is gone. With gentle acoustic guitar, soft banjo, crying fiddle, lonesome harmonica, and a slow swaying country feel, this cover is made for quiet evenings, long drives, and anyone who still carries the memory of someone they once loved. 🎵 SONG INFORMATION Song: Good Night Irene Reference version: Eric Clapton Album: Old Sock Release year of Eric Clapton version: 2013 Songwriters / traditional credits: Huddie Ledbetter (Lead Belly), John A.
