Discover the extraordinary lives of Britain’s ultimate animal lovers, where pets rule the house and hearts - from 40 cats to 50 dogs, chickens, hedgehogs, and snakes! Step inside the homes of some of the UK’s most devoted animal enthusiasts. This documentary follows Marlene, who shares her house (and every waking hour) with 40 pedigree cats, and Anne, whose Welsh farm has become a sanctuary for 50 rescued dogs. Meet Deb, whose life was changed after rescuing 60 battery hens, now treating her chickens as family, and Mavis, a former special needs teacher who’s saved over 2,000 hedgehogs. You’ll also encounter Matt, whose reptile obsession has transformed his Sussex home into a mini-zoo filled with snakes and lizards. Witness the challenges and triumphs these modern-day Dr. Dolittles face - from sky-high pet food bills to emotional farewells at animal shows and rehoming rescues. Learn about the deep bonds people form with animals, the sacrifices they make, and how their furry, feathered, or scaly companions have helped them find purpose and joy. If you’re fascinated by pet rescue stories, extreme animal care, or the world of passionate animal collectors, this heartwarming and sometimes chaotic journey is for you. #AnimalRescue #PetLovers #CatLady #DogSanctuary #ChickenRescue #ReptileKeeper #HedgehogRescue #AnimalObsessions
