Drogon Vanished in Season 5 — The Scene That Revealed Where He Went

Drogon vanished for most of Game of Thrones Season 5, leaving Daenerys Targaryen with almost no control over her most powerful dragon. But the Season 5 finale quietly revealed where Drogon went when he disappeared — and the answer says far more about his relationship with Daenerys than it first appears. In this video, we trace Drogon’s disappearance from Meereen, his mysterious flight over Valyria, his return during the attack at Daznak’s Pit, and the moment he carries Daenerys deep into the Dothraki Sea. By comparing what the show reveals with details from *A Dance with Dragons*, we look at Drogon’s lair, why he refused to take Daenerys back to Meereen, and whether she ever truly controlled him at all. The biggest clue isn’t simply where Drogon was hiding. It’s the pattern behind every Season 5 appearance. Drogon comes and goes on his own terms, ignores Daenerys when he chooses, and ultimately carries her exactly where he wants to go. What looks like a dragon obeying the Mother of Dragons may actually be something much more complicated. If you enjoy hidden Game of Thrones details, Daenerys Targaryen theories, Drogon analysis, book-versus-show comparisons, and scenes that reveal more than they seem to, this breakdown takes a closer look at one of Season 5’s most overlooked dragon storylines. #GameOfThrones #Drogon #DaenerysTargaryen #HouseOfTheDragon #ASOIAF
