In Vision’s mind in *Vision Quest*, Tony’s various AI and robotic assistants—Dummy, U, JARVIS, Friday, and Edith—appear one after another, each retaining their original characteristics. Vision did not completely erase Ultron; instead, he backed up and imprisoned Ultron’s data. What was destroyed back then was merely a copy of Ultron’s consciousness. Vision chose to preserve Ultron not only because he did not view Ultron as merely an enemy, but also because he regarded Ultron as his father.
