The Kidnapper Knew the Family's Safe Word | Drama Thriller Movie| Based On True Story| Lifetime

She Survived a Serial Predator—Then Learned Police Had Known He Was Hunting Women in Her Neighborhood. After a brutal sexual assault, Claire Morgan tries to understand how the attacker found her. The answer changes everything. She discovers that several women living within blocks of her home had already been attacked by the same man. Police recognized the pattern—but chose not to publicly warn the neighborhood while they tried to catch him. Claire realizes she may have been placed in danger by the very system meant to protect her. Instead of remaining silent, she begins investigating how her case was handled. What follows is a decade-long legal battle against police officials, institutional indifference, and a justice system that repeatedly questions the survivor instead of its own failures. Based on true events, this powerful courtroom drama follows one woman’s fight to prove that authorities cannot knowingly leave innocent people exposed to danger and then refuse responsibility when someone gets hurt.
