Description
What happens when "investing becomes more about access than insight?"
In this episode, we enter the "Investor Farm" — a light-hearted satire inspired by "Animal Farm" — where retail investors, fund managers, promoters, investment bankers, family offices and celebrity investors all play by the same rules… until the rules begin to change.
Through the story of "Charlie Dadu, Warren Uncle (Snowball), Napoleon Capital and Bitti Mishra", we explore some uncomfortable realities of the investing world: "pre-IPO investments, unlisted shares, preferential allotments, exclusive investor groups, promoter access, FOMO, status games and the growing obsession with “who knows whom.”"
The central question is simple:
"Does better access really mean better investing?"
Or can an independent investor with nothing more than a "balance sheet, a business, a market price and their own mind" still have an edge?
This video explores why "independent thinking, fundamental research, valuation, cash flows, governance and patience" may matter far more than exclusive access, famous names or private introductions.
It’s a story about "Indian stock market investing, retail investors, value investing, fundamental analysis and the psychology of investing" — told through satire, humour and a few uncomfortable truths.
