Description

Dump it in, put the lid on, and walk away. These are 10 slow cooker dinners that each take only 3 ingredients. Nothing to chop, no cutting board to wash, no standing over a burner. Three things go in the pot in the morning, and dinner is waiting when you get home. ⭐ THE 10 Ten dinners, counting down. For each one I walk through the three ingredients, the order they go into the pot, and how long they need. A slow cooker holds low heat for hours without you in the room, the same idea as a pot left on the coals overnight. You don't need a long ingredient list for that to work. You need the right three things and enough time. ⭐ START THIS WEEK 1. Check that your slow cooker's lid fits tight. A loose lid lets the heat out and the time stretches. 2. Shop for three ingredients, not thirty. Pick one dinner from the video and buy only what it needs. 3. Load it in the morning before work. Lid on. Don't lift it to check. Every peek costs you time. 4. Make a double batch the first time and freeze half. WHY ONLY THREE: a long list is how a weeknight dinner turns into a project. Low heat and hours of time do the work that chopping and stirring usually do. Fewer ingredients also means fewer things that can go wrong. THE HONEST WORDS (straight, like a shop estimate): - Three ingredients means the three have to be good. Cheap filler shows up when nothing is covering for it. - Don't put frozen meat straight into the slow cooker. Thaw it in the fridge first so it doesn't sit too long at an unsafe temperature. - Dried beans → boil them hard on the stove for 10 minutes first. With kidney beans, never skip that boil. - Don't fill the pot past about two-thirds. An overfilled crock doesn't cook evenly. - Taste before you serve. Salt at the end if it needs it. WHO PROFITS: the freezer aisle and the meal-kit box both sell you 'easy' at a markup. A slow cooker, three ingredients, and a morning's head start get you the same easy for the price of the groceries. THE HABIT: load the pot on the busiest day of your week. Eat it that night. Pack the leftovers for lunch. Freeze what's left in portions. One pot does the work of three meals. And the car that got you to the store for these three ingredients? That's the other half of my life: 🔧 Carlos Herrera → https://www.youtube.com/@CarlosHerreraYT Pick one this week. If you only try two: keep the lid shut, and thaw the meat before it goes in. Then tell me in the comments what dinner was cooking all day in your house growing up, and who loaded the pot. Give me the name. I read every one.
