Every Country and Territory in South America — Size Comparison

From the Falkland Islands — just 12,173 km² — to Brazil at over 8.5 million km², this is every country and territory in South America, compared in 3D, from the smallest to the largest. 14 nations and territories. A 700× difference between the first and the last. Every landmass is rendered to true relative scale: surface area is proportional to real area, so what you see is an honest comparison, not a stylised one. A note on terminology: this video includes all 12 sovereign countries of South America, plus French Guiana (an overseas department of France, and therefore European Union territory) and the Falkland Islands (a British Overseas Territory). They are included because they are part of the continent — not because they are independent states. Chile's area excludes its Antarctic claim. Ecuador's includes the Galápagos. Borders and coastlines: Natural Earth (public domain). Areas: total area, land + inland water. Made in Blender. #SizeComparison #SouthAmerica #Geography #3D
