The Twin Professor X Tried to Kill Before He Was Born.

Tonight, a long and quiet journey through the story of Cassandra Nova, the twin sister Charles Xavier never knew he had, and the villain responsible for the darkest day in X-Men history. She has appeared in only a handful of comics. Yet in those few stories she destroyed the mutant nation of Genosha, stole her brother's body, exposed his greatest secret to the world, and brought down an empire among the stars. This is her complete comic book history, told slowly, from the womb to the present day. In this video: • Charles Xavier's childhood and the origin of his dream • The mummudrai, and what really happened before Xavier was born • The full history of Genosha, from slave state to mutant homeland • E Is for Extinction and the death of sixteen million mutants • The body swap, the broadcast, and the fall of the Shi'ar Empire • Ernst, Emma Frost, and the seed left behind in Torn • Necrosha and the island of the dead • Jean Grey, X-Men Red, and the machine that made people hate • Krakoa, the Marauders, and a civilisation two billion years old • 3K, the Zealot, and where her story stands today This video follows the main Marvel comics continuity. Alternate futures and other universes are clearly noted where they appear. The film version of the character is a separate continuity and is not covered here. Settle in, close your eyes, and rest well. #xmen #cassandranova #marvel #comicbooklore #sleepstory #fallasleep #sleep
