Pastor Accused of Raping Mother | 4-Month-Old Baby Found Dead in Shallow Grave | Hennops River

A spiritual cleansing ritual at the Hennops River in Gauteng has ended in tragedy after a four-month-old baby was found dead and buried in a shallow grave. According to police reports, a 43-year-old mother accompanied her pastor and his wife to the river on 7 October 2026 for what was supposed to be a spiritual cleansing ritual. The pastor allegedly raped and restrained the mother while his wife remained with the baby. The mother managed to escape and seek assistance, but her child had disappeared. During the investigation, the pastor's wife reportedly led police to a shallow grave where the baby's body was discovered. The wife was reportedly arrested, while police launched a manhunt for the pastor.
