1970s Halloween Candy We Somehow Survived (Peanut Butter Kisses, Bit-O-Honey,..)

Halloween candy in the 1970s and 80s was never a sure thing. Some nights you hit chocolate. Other nights you heard that crinkle of orange and black wrapper and already knew what was coming. This is a countdown through 12 of the treats, and a few of the tricks, that filled every pillowcase back then: Peanut Butter Kisses, Mary Janes, Necco Wafers, Pixy Stix, Bottle Caps, Lik-M-Aid Fun Dip, Wax Lips and Wax Bottles, Raisins (yes, someone really did hand those out), Tootsie Rolls, Bit-O-Honey, Sixlets, and Bubble Gum Eyeballs. Some of these earned a permanent spot at the bottom of the bag. A few of them we still haven't forgiven. All of them are still rattling around in a 1970s and 80s memory somewhere. 1970s Halloween candy | 1980s Halloween candy | peanut butter kisses | bit-o-honey | wax lips candy | mary janes candy | necco wafers | pixy stix | bottle caps candy | vintage halloween candy | retro Halloween nostalgia | classic Halloween candy 👻 Want more nostalgic treats?
