Description

If you're over 65 and you shop at Aldi, there's a very good chance you walk out of that store every week leaving money, help, and free things sitting on the counter. Not because Aldi is hiding them. Because nobody ever told you they were there for the asking. Here's why that happens. Aldi is built to run lean. Three or four people working an entire store. No baggers. No one walking the parking lot for carts. Groceries left in the shipping boxes they came in so nobody has to stack cans one by one. Every one of those choices is about keeping the shelf price low. And it works. But there's a side effect nobody talks about. In a store with almost no staff, there is no one whose job is to tell you what you're entitled to. No greeter at the door. No service desk with a sign listing the perks. If you don't ask, the answer is simply never offered.
