Grótti (Fenja and Menja) | Old Norse Viking Song

Nordic Versecraft brings you “Grótti”, an Old Norse song of relentless toil, royal greed, and two giantesses who turn their strength against a king. ⚔️ Fenja and Menja grind gold for Fróði, yet he grants them no rest. Their work song becomes a call for his downfall. The mill that fills his coffers now grinds his fate. “Mal, Grótti, mal! Mǫlum Fróða fall!” “Grind, Grótti, grind! Let us grind Fróði’s downfall!” From the first turn of the stone to the final breaking point, “Grótti” gives voice to those whose hands can be bought, but whose will remains their own. 🎧 LISTEN TO NORDIC VERSECRAFT ► Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/artist/6lqtGiVfAXRM2kxeDgFas6 ► Apple Music: https://music.apple.com/us/artist/nordic-versecraft/1812282683 ► Amazon Music: https://music.amazon.in/artists/B0F7GH569P/nordic-versecraft ► YouTube Music: https://music.youtube.com/channel/UCdQnpSuy_H0acGpa0Vn4S6A ► Tidal: https://tidal.com/artist/58100738 FOLLOW NORDIC VERSECRAFT ► Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/nordicversecraft ► Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/nordicversecraft/ ► TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@nordicversecraft Subscribe for more songs in Old Norse, and tell us which line you would sing loudest. #vikings #vikingmusic #darkfolk #NordicVersecraft #Grótti #OldNorse #NorseMythology
