Vargöld (Age of Wolves) | Old Norse Viking Music

Vargöld — the Age of Wolves. In the old prophecy it is the time before the end: brothers turn on brothers, the sun goes black, and the wolf swallows the moon. This one is my hymn to that reckoning. "Skeggǫld, skálmǫld, skildir klofna; vindǫld, vargǫld, verǫld steypisk!" An axe-age, a sword-age, shields are cloven; a wind-age, a wolf-age, before the world plunges down. Sung entirely in Old Norse, drawn from the Völuspá. Turn it up loud, let the wolves in. 🎧 Stream everywhere: Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/intl-de/artist/6lqtGiVfAXRM2kxeDgFas6 Apple Music: https://music.apple.com/us/artist/nordic-versecraft/1812282683 Amazon Music: https://music.amazon.in/artists/B0F7GH569P/nordic-versecraft YouTube Music: https://music.youtube.com/channel/UCdQnpSuy_H0acGpa0Vn4S6A Tidal: https://tidal.com/artist/58100738 Subscribe and turn on notifications — more songs from the old world coming. — Aaa-úlfr… aaa-úlfr… hjú… hjú-ú… #nordicfolk #oldnorse #vikingmusic #ragnarok #norsemythology #paganfolk #ritualmusic #darkfolk #voluspa #nordicversecraft
