Turning My Stone Cabin into a Cozy Home | Roof Window Build

Hello, my name is Karina. Deep in the wilderness, hidden among forests and mountains, stands my small stone cabin. Today I want to make one of the biggest improvements since I started restoring this place—a large roof window. Until now, the cabin has always been quite dark inside. My dream is to fill it with natural light and fall asleep beneath the stars while listening to the rain above me. Piece by piece, I build the new skylight, carefully fitting it into the roof. It takes patience, but little by little the cabin begins to feel brighter, warmer, and more alive. When the work is finished, I light the stove, collect fresh water from the nearby river, prepare a simple dinner, and make hot tea. As evening falls, I sit quietly beside the fire, watching the sky through my new window while rain gently taps on the roof. Another peaceful night alone in my stone cabin, surrounded by silence, nature, and the simple joys of off-grid living.
