Description

I do my big cupboard filling in September, and this year I wrote down exactly what goes in the cart. Fifteen groceries that will not be this cheap again until next fall, and how to store each one so it is still good come Christmas. Three more I tell you to leave alone for now, because those come down instead. It is the cheapest my cart gets all year. 📚 My Complete Home System, 253 Methods and the 90-Day Plan I Teach: https://thehannahbrooks.com If this is your kind of thing, go ahead and click that subscribe button and turn on the notifications, there is plenty more on the way. DISCLAIMER: For educational purposes only. Follow safe food handling at home. Never give honey of any kind to a baby under one year old. Cider sold at a mill may be unpasteurized and freezing does not change that, so anyone pregnant, elderly, very young or in poor health should drink the pasteurized kind. Thaw a turkey or a ham in the refrigerator, never on the counter, and cook it to a safe internal temperature. Home canning has its own rules set by your extension office, flat canning lids are single use, and a store bought pasta sauce jar is for dry storage only and never for canning heat. Cut any green away from a potato deeply and throw out one that has gone green all over, and when a nut or anything else smells off or tastes bitter, out it goes. Store raw and cooked food separately and wash your hands and your board in hot soapy water. This is not a substitute for professional food safety or medical advice.
