A Marxist Scientist Was Sent to Expose Her as a Fraud — Then He Called Her a Saint | Natuzza Evolo They sent a Marxist scientist to expose Natuzza Evolo as a fraud. An anthropologist from the University of Rome, convinced that miracles were nothing but superstition for the poor. But when he watched the blood-writing appear on cloth, saw the stigmata with his own eyes, and heard what she revealed about the first 40 days after death, his certainties crumbled one by one — until a verdict no one expected. This is the true story of Natuzza Evolo, the illiterate mystic of Paravati, Calabria, who spoke with the souls of the dead and bled sacred writing in ancient languages — and of Luigi Maria Lombardi Satriani, the renowned Marxist scientist who came to debunk her, filmed a documentary about her for Italian national television, and ended up saying: "She's a saint." A documentary-style account based on the testimonies and sources listed below.
