For thousands of years, people have gazed up at it in search of answers, woven legends and tracked the movements of celestial bodies. So let’s set off on a fantastic journey to the most striking of these objects. We will start with an encounter with the mysterious Venus, hiding its face behind thick clouds. We will then set off for the mighty Jupiter and its moons, each of which has its own unique character. Next, we’ll leave the Solar System behind and make for the brightest of the nearby stars. This journey will take us to the dying Betelgeuse, which could explode in a blinding flash at any moment. After skirting around it, we’ll set course for a stellar nursery – the mysterious Orion Nebula. We’ll then cross the Milky Way to admire its sparkling core, majestic arms and dark nebulae. Finally, we’ll traverse millions of light-years of space in the blink of an eye to reach the marvellous Andromeda – the largest galaxy closest to us. 0:00 Intro 03:27 Venus 15:11 Jupiter’s Moons 39:35 Our Closest Stars 01:13:24 Betelgeuse 01:25:29 The Orion Nebula 01:39:01 The Milky Way 01:53:51 Andromeda 02:13:48 Ending #DeepSpace #space #Planets #film #kosmo
