The Ancient Gauls Were Never Who We Thought — Dna Revealed Their Hidden Ancestry

What did the DNA of the Ancient Gauls really reveal about their ancestry? New archaeogenetic research is helping scientists reconstruct the population history of Iron Age France and understand how Gallic communities were connected to earlier European populations. Researchers analyzed dozens of ancient genomes from sites across present-day France, dating from the Bronze Age and Iron Age. The evidence shows no major genetic population replacement between the Bronze and Iron Ages in France, while also revealing regional differences and genetic connections with neighboring populations in Britain and Spain. In this video, we explore Ancient Gauls DNA, Gaulish ancestry, Celtic genetics, Iron Age France, ancient European DNA, Bronze Age migrations, Steppe ancestry, French genetic history, and the origins of the Gallic people. Discover what ancient DNA can—and cannot—tell us about the people who lived in Gaul thousands of years ago, and how genetics is reshaping our understanding of Celtic and Western European history. #ancient #gaulestribo #ancientdna #gaulani #celticdesign #celtic #ancientceltic #ironage #ironage #ancienthistory #european #genetics #archaeology #ancienthistory #dnahistory
