Description

I’ve been growing tomatoes the way I was taught for a long time, and sometimes the simplest methods still make the most sense. One of the best tricks I learned is to lay a tomato plant down in a shallow trench instead of planting it straight into a hole. That buried stem will grow new roots, giving the plant a stronger foundation and helping it make better use of the soil, water, and nutrients around it. It’s the kind of garden knowledge that’s easy to overlook until you see how well it works. More than anything, it’s about understanding the plant and making the most of what you already have. I’m sharing this one because these are the sorts of things worth keeping alive, simple lessons from the garden that have been passed down and still have a place in our lives today. #Gardening #TomatoGrowing #GardenTips #Homesteading
