Too Stupid | Trump’s Confidence Meets Reality in a Satirical Novelty Song

Donald Trump has never suffered from a shortage of confidence—and “Too Stupid” turns that confidence into the punchline. This ridiculously cheerful 1960s novelty pop satire takes aim at Trump’s famous Sharpie hurricane episode, his claims about windmills, his fixation on Greenland and Canada, his habit of declaring himself more knowledgeable than the experts, and the extraordinary certainty with which he delivers it all. Wrapped in sunny retro harmonies, doo-wop backing vocals and an absurdly catchy chorus, the song builds around one brutally simple joke: “He’s too stupid to know how stupid he is.” For listeners who enjoy anti-Trump political satire, protest songs, MAGA parody and musical comedy about American politics, “Too Stupid” uses laughter to lampoon political arrogance, misinformation and the dangers of mistaking absolute confidence for actual knowledge.
