They Banned Her Diary for 20 Years — Because of What She Saw After Death

They Banned Her Diary for 20 Years — Because of What She Saw After Death For twenty years, the Church forbade the diary of St. Faustina Kowalska: it could not be printed, it could not be shared. And the pages that most alarmed the men who had to judge it were precisely the ones about what happens after death — hell, purgatory, and the last instant of life. In this video we reconstruct, with dates and documents in hand, a true and little-known story: what Faustina actually wrote about the afterlife, why the Holy Office blocked her writings with the decrees of 1958 and 1959, which sentence was misunderstood because of a faulty Italian translation, and how — once the Polish original was finally studied — the same Church lifted the ban in 1978, all the way to her canonization in 2000. Not cheap words of comfort, but facts: a diary blocked, re-examined, and recognized by the very authority that had stopped it. At the end of the video, a prayer we can repeat together, for one another, for the souls we carry in our hearts. Write "Amen" in the comments for the person you are praying for. 🕊️ Support Christian Way Center: 👉https://www.christianwaycenter.org/donate/ #SaintFaustina #DivineMercy #Purgatory CHAPTERS 00:00 A Diary Forbidden for 20 Years 00:44 Who Was St. Faustina Kowalska 01:43 The Vision of Hell 02:40 Purgatory and the Waiting Souls 03:20 The Last Instant: The Promise About Death 04:21 Faustina's Death and the Spread of the Devotion 05:21 What Was Truly Misunderstood: The Feast Promise 06:33 The 1970s Re-examination and Różycki's Study 07:50 The 1978 Reversal and John Paul II 09:09 What This Story Leaves Us 09:59 Closing Prayer TAGS saint faustina, saint faustina kowalska, faustina diary, divine mercy, divine mercy in my soul, afterlife, life after death, purgatory, vision of hell, faustina hell, faustina purgatory, chaplet of divine mercy, hour of death, last moment of life, church banned faustina diary, forbidden diary, holy office, john paul ii, feast of divine mercy, mercy of god, catholic saints, true story, miracles, testimonies of faith, catholic SOURCES St. Faustina Kowalska, Diary — Divine Mercy in My Soul: vision of hell (741); purgatory (20); the hour of death (1541); the Feast promise (699).
