Lord, I Need to Change | Christian Gospel Prayer Song 2026

“Lord, I Need to Change” by Mason Clay is a Christian Gospel prayer song about a broken man asking God to change his heart from the inside out. This is not just a song about feeling better for one night — it is a worship prayer for anyone who is tired of old patterns, hidden fear, repeated mistakes, and living like the same person again and again. With Mason Clay’s deep, warm, raspy male vocal and emotional Christian Country Soul / Gospel Worship sound, this song speaks to worldwide Christian listeners who need mercy, healing, renewal, and real spiritual change. “Lord, I Need to Change” is for the person who does not want to keep wearing a mask, does not want to keep returning to old chains, and does not want to stay trapped in the same broken places. It is a prayer for a new heart, honest faith, clean hands, and a life made new by the grace of God.
