The Philippines has Traditional Fiesta Games?!

Did you know the Philippines has Traditional Fiesta Games?! Here are three! Number 1. Palo Sebo – A tall bamboo pole is covered in grease, with prizes placed on top. Players try to climb it, and in many fiestas, groups stack themselves together to reach the prize. Number 2. Pukpok Palayok - The Filipino version of a piñata but it uses a clay pot filled with treats instead. Players are blindfolded and guided by the crowd as they swing a stick, and once the pot breaks, everyone rushes to collect what falls. Number 3. Agawan Buko - This means “coconut snatching.” It’s like rugby, but the ball is a greased coconut. Players compete to grab a coconut while others try to stop them, and to win, a player must bring the coconut to a designated spot. #philippines #interesting #facts #interestingfacts #filipino #didyouknow #culture #education #philippinegames #filipinogames #festivalgames
