It started out as a police procedural, where they'd gather clues and evidence before disregarding all of it and then killing someone and calling it a day. They also spent most of the time at strip clubs and even had one of the girl cops working there as stripper, which starts as an undercover thing but then everyone forgets about that and it just becomes a second job. It sounds like I'm making this up but this I swear it's 100% true. That brings us to season 2, where he Seagal decided "Hey, what if my character is actually super secret CIA that's so secret not even the CIA is allowed to know about it, but also has a dark past as well as being former spec ops in whatever military branch I feel like stealing on any given day?" You know, the same that all his movies devolve into because of numerous personality disorders and delusions. I tell myself everyone just went along with it because the more control Seagal has the faster it's going to get cancelled. Because if that's not true, and actual human beings took part in this for any other reason than willful sabotage of this absolute travesty that can only be described as Syphilis for your television, then humanity is lost and I'm switching to team Skynet.
