Samurai Cop 2 had some very small and cheap shoes to fill and had to decide between being a real movie and being a self parody, and decided "Hey, what if we do none of those things??" and instead made some sort of reunion movie where most of it's spent winking at the audience instead of giving us the gritty action-thriller-psychological-drama-comedy-romance-horror-revenge film we've thought about at least twice.
