Ek bar um herðar hennar feld, en hvergi sá ek ljós né eld. Um frosinn skóg ek fór um nótt, unz féll ek niðr, ok allt varð hljótt. Ek heyrða fótatak í snæ, en frosin lá ek undir tré. Þá lagðisk ylgr við mína hlið, í loðnum feldi fann ek frið. Er dagr reis upp, þeir drógu nær, ek dró enn andann, lifði þar. The pack is my blood, The wild is my home. Call through the pines, I will come, I will come. Where you lie down, I lay my head. The pack is my blood, They left me for dead. Ek nam hvern stíg í myrkum skóg, þar gekk ek hljótt, þar fann ek nóg. Vér fórum ein af ǫðru um ís, þar ungr hvelpr dróst aptr í hrís. Ek beið hans þar við bakkann lágt ok bar hann yfir vatnit kalt. Vér átum saman undir tré, vér sváfum djúpt í hvítum snæ. Þá leysti ísa, leið vár kom, ek leit minn bæ ok sneri heim. Þeir sá oss ganga grjótan veg ok gerðu fast sitt hlið við mér. The pack is my blood, The wild is my home. Call through the pines, I will come, I will come. Where you lie down, I lay my head. The pack is my blood, They left me for dead. Móðir mín kallaði hátt á mik, ek heyrða rǫdd, er fyrr ek þekkt. Ylgr snart með trýni hǫnd á mér. Ek sneri við ok fylgða henni. The pack is my blood, The wild is my home. Call through the pines, I will come, I will come. Where you lie down, I lay my head. The pack is my blood, They left me for dead. The pack is my blood, The wild is my home. Born again where The wolves made me their own. Thank you for listening.
