Peter Obi Storms Enugu State For Burial Of Christopher Nworie Killed During NDC Campaign Flag-off.

BREAKING: PETER OBI RETURNS FROM THE UK TO ENUGU FOR BURIAL OF CHRISTOPHER NWORIE FOLLOWING DEADLY ATTACK AT NDC CAMPAIGN FLAG-OFF! Peter Gregory Obi has travelled from the United Kingdom to Enugu State to attend the burial of Christopher Nworie, who was reportedly killed during an attack connected to the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) campaign flag-off. The solemn visit brings renewed attention to the tragic loss of Christopher Nworie, the circumstances surrounding the reported campaign attack, and growing concerns about political violence, public safety and the protection of Nigerians participating in democratic activities ahead of the 2027 general election. Peter Obi's presence in Enugu highlights the human cost of political violence as family members, friends, supporters and mourners gather to pay their final respects to Christopher Nworie. The development also raises serious questions about security arrangements at political gatherings, the safety of campaign supporters, accountability for election-related attacks and the responsibility of security agencies to investigate violent incidents and protect citizens regardless of their political affiliations. As Nigeria prepares for the 2027 presidential election, attention remains on electoral security, peaceful political participation, the prevention of intimidation and violence, and justice for victims and their families.
