Description

I built a hidden bushcraft dugout into a steep mountain slope — stone and sticks, a working stove inside, and everything else made by hand from what the forest gave me. The slope does the hard work before a single stone is laid — dug into the hillside, the earth insulates on three sides before the walls even go up. I packed the interior walls in dry-laid stone and framed the structure from raw branches cut on site, the way a bushcraft build should work when there's no budget and no supply run coming. Inside I built a stone stove for cooking and heat, a sleeping platform to get off the cold ground, a table and a chair — everything shaped and fitted without anything that didn't come from the mountain around me. Hidden, warm, and completely self-sufficient. That's the only kind of dugout worth building. For business inquiries and collaborations: [email protected]
