Description

Check out Twingate: https://twingate.com/?utm_source=ray.does.tech&utm_campaign=lt&utm_medium=social Today we're going back to where PC gaming really started for me. This Dell OptiPlex was basically my first gaming PC, and while the specs definitely weren't impressive, it was a massive upgrade over the old AMD Toshiba laptop I was using before it. The system is running an Intel Core i3-2120, 4GB of DDR3 RAM, and an EVGA GT 730 2GB GDDR5. Back then, this thing felt incredible to me. It got me interested in upgrading computers, tearing hardware apart, learning how everything worked, and eventually building my own gaming PCs. It also played a pretty big part in me eventually getting into IT as a career. Instead of throwing a bunch of modern games at it, I wanted to test the kinds of games I actually played back then and see what the experience is like today. Games tested include: * Minecraft * Mount & Blade: Warband * ARMA 2 * Fallout: New Vegas * Insurgency * GTA 5 Legacy Edition * Spec Ops: The Line * Ravenfield This PC definitely isn't powerful by today's standards, but that's also kind of the point. You don't need the newest hardware to enjoy PC gaming. There are thousands of older and less demanding games that can still be incredibly fun on cheap hardware. If your PC plays the games you enjoy, that's what really matters. Thanks for watching and for all the support on the channel!
