🥊 FIGHT DESCRIPTION: Subriel Matias stormed his way to the vacant IBF junior welterweight world title, demolishing Jeremias Ponce with a devastating fifth-round stoppage. Ponce came out firing, applying relentless pressure and landing sharp shots early, but Matias gradually seized control with punishing power punches that began taking their toll by the second round. As Ponce’s energy faded, Matias turned up the pressure, unleashing heavier combinations and forcing his opponent to absorb a relentless assault. Then came the explosive finish. In the closing moments of the fifth round, Matias unleashed a vicious barrage, rocking Ponce repeatedly before drilling him with a crushing body shot that sent him crashing to the canvas. Ponce somehow beat the count, but he was visibly battered and in no condition to continue. Recognizing the damage, his corner stepped in and stopped the fight before the sixth round could begin. With relentless aggression, overwhelming punch volume, and fight-changing power, Matias broke down Ponce and conquered the division’s vacant IBF crown in emphatic fashion.
